The OHADAC Regional Arbitration Centre (CARO) announces the opening of a position for an OECS Officer, as part of the establishment of its satellite office in Saint Lucia and the implementation of the Interreg Caribbean programme in the Member States of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
On July 11, 2025, the CARO Regional Arbitration Centre officially launched the OHADAC-CARO Project in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, as part of the INTERREG Caribbean 2021-2027 program.
The CARO Center, along with Sarah Ellington, a partner at Watson Farley & Williams and a United Kingdom board member of the “Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers”, and Lauren Satill, an associate at Watson Farley & Williams, participated in the Sustainable Financing Forum organized by the United Nations, which took place in Seville, Spain, from June 30 to July 4, 2025.
On June 17-18, the CARO Centre had the honor of participating in a conference titled: “Human Rights and Environmentally responsible practices in the light of foreign investments - Human Rights and Environmentally Responsible Business Practices”.
On May 14, 2025, the CARO Centre, in partnership with the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL), Cercle K2, and the law firm Hogan Lovells, hosted a conference at Hogan Lovells' Paris offices on the theme: “The Role of Local Communities in Infrastructure Projects - Tools Offered by the CARO Centre”.
On May 6, 2025, the CARO Centre organized a roundtable in partnership with the UK branch of the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL) and the law firm Watson Farley & Williams in London. This event marked the first in a series of roundtables aimed at introducing the CARO Centre's brand-new Conflict Management Committee (CMC) service.

For the OHADA, this major international conference was a response to the “growing expectations of Moroccan businesses and the needs of legal and financial stakeholders in Morocco”. It brought together renowned speakers and experts who discussed various topics related to OHADA law, including the critical issue of translating OHADA texts into Arabic to improve accessibility.
The CARO Centre, through the ACP Legal association, participated in the 51st session of Working Group III of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), held in New York from April 7 to 11, 2025. ACP Legal, which holds Observer status in this context, was represented by Marie-Camille Pitton, Secretary General of the CARO Centre.
