The CARO Centre participated in the latest Global Forum on Partnerships for Anti-Corruption Efforts. The event took place on April 8 and 9, 2025, in Washington, D.C., and was organized by the World Bank Group's Anti-Corruption for Development (AC4D) program in collaboration with the International Corruption Hunters Alliance (ICHA).

This event is part of a growing awareness of the extensive social and environmental costs associated with corruption. It served as a reminder of the World Bank's and its partners' commitment to fighting this global challenge by addressing its transnational dimensions. One of the key focuses of the two-day discussions was the engagement of partners from governments, international organizations, the private sector, academia, and civil society in the fight against corruption and its harmful effects.

Marie-Camille Pitton, Secretary General of the CARO Centre, represented both the CARO Centre and the ACP Legal association during the discussions, bringing a Caribbean perspective to the table. Through its participation in this important event, the CARO Centre reaffirms its commitment to transparency, good practices, and legal certainty in the context of international commercial transactions.
