On January 30, 2025, Marie-Camille Pitton had the honor of speaking at the conference of the Institute of European Law of the Bars (IDEB) at the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in Luxembourg.

The Institute of European Law of the Bars offers the Bar Associations of the European capitals of Strasbourg, Luxembourg, and Brussels the opportunity to “strengthen their knowledge of European law and the law of the European Convention on Human Rights”. One of the main objectives of the Institute of European Law of the Bars is to “create a training network that allows French-speaking lawyers to acquire a European reflex in their daily practice at a low cost and without leaving their bar”.

Marie-Camille Pitton's intervention focused on the place of human rights and the environment in international arbitration, in the commercial field and in the context of investment arbitration. She also emphasized the importance of innovative initiatives to attempt to reconcile arbitration and human rights. Her vision of international arbitration as a tool for defending human rights aroused great interest and generated significant discussions.
